Close-up & Stage Magic
The proximity of the spectator to the magician is what makes close-up magic so memorable. The magician works at a table or surrounded by people during a champagne reception. The direct contact to the audience and the chance to closely examine everything is what makes this type of magic an unforgettable experience for the onlooker. Close-up is pure sleight-of-hand magic combined with comedy and a large helping of joie de vivre. Let yourself go and enter Pat Perry's world of illusion.
Pat Perry's close-up magic show won his first prize twice in a row at the Swiss Magical Championships (in 1993 and 1996).
The 30 minute stage performance shows magic in a different light. Pat Perry amazes his audience with new and unexpected effects all present with a touch of irony whilst everything is taken with a pinch of salt. The audience gets to participate without feeling intimidated and thus contributes actively to the show.
For large events, you may want to choose to book a team of close-up magicians (Pat Perry plus an additional one or two performers). This way, each guest in an audience of up to 800 people can be “covered” and entertained close-up.
The costs for an evening are between CHF 2'000.-- and CHF 2'500.-- depending on event size and program.
